Would you like to see a spellbinding performance with scores of beautiful parrots and other exotic birds? Performers Beth, Jack, Paris, Sol, and others put on an amazing parrot show three times a day. The parrot shows are about 30 minutes long and will give you the chance to see more beautiful birds up close than you have probably ever seen before in your life. Unlike traditional zoos, you will see be able to see plenty of parrots outside their cages, flying around. Mundomar has lots of highly intelligent parrots, so be prepared to be surprised at just how clever a lot of their birds are.

Have a Personal Encounter with Dolphins

Dolphin encounters are a spectacular experience for many people. You will love having the opportunity to get in the pool with these wonderful creatures. Dolphins are extremely intelligent  and each have their own unique personalities. Can you imagine a more delightful way to spend an afternoon than in the company of these personable animals? Mundomar does require that anyone interested in having a dolphin encounter makes a reservation five days in advance. They also require that dolphin encounter participants be able-bodied, decent swimmers, and not pregnant. (These rules are in place to safeguard the health of participants.) Participants in the dolphin encounters are allowed to gently touch the dolphins. If you've always wanted to be able to swim with dolphins and touch them, you will really enjoy yourself at one of Mundomar's dolphin encounters sessions.

Watch a Sea Lion Show

Mundomar has three sea lion shows a day. The shows consist of trainers interacting with sea lions trained to perform tricks. But, unlike a lot of other sea-life shows, they are also educational in nature. Trainers try to help the audience understand more about sea lions and how these interesting sea mammals are unique. They also make an effort to point out some of the differences between seal lions and seals.

Become a Trainer for a Day

Mundomar has a special program that really helps distinguish it from other sea-life parks and animal parks: Become a Trainer for a Day. Become a Trainer for a Day is a full day program you register for in advance. The program allows you to "become" a dolphin and sea lion trainer for a day. You start out in the morning receiving instructions from trainers and then get to practice training dolphins. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to get some hands-on experience training seals and sea lions. Become a Trainer for a Day is a program that can really help stimulate children's interest in learning more about marine life. It can also be a lot of fun for adults that have always wanted to know what it is like to be able to train intelligent sea mammals.

Spend Time Watching Prairie Dogs

Mundomar has a special prairie dog habitat set up where you can go and look at some prairie dog colonies While prairie dogs are native to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, the climate in Mundomar in Benidorm Spain is similar enough to the prairie dogs' native habitat that they are able to live comfortably there. Prairie dogs are unique mammals, and if you have never had the chance to see them before, you should go out to the Prairie dog area and have a look at them. Mundomar has a tremendous number of attractions that all make great days out.
